Teams of 4 compete on an 8-mile relay team while consuming a dozen doughnuts! Each person will run a mile, consume doughnuts, and run a mile back to the start to hand-off to their teammate. Every team must consume a dozen donuts — any way they want! Three people eat one and one person eats nine? Eat a bite and run back to stiff your teammates? All is fair in run and doughnut.
B-Doughnut from Leesburg will be on hand with their acclaimed doughnuts including a special Old-Ox beer glaze.

Come out for a 3-4 mile Tuesday fun run to meet other runners and learn more about the 101/201 =PR= Training Program! Whether you are just starting to run or you are a seasoned runner, 101/201 is great for all paces and abilities. There will be a short welcome by Coach Tammy and then you’ll have a chance to run and meet other runners or reconnect with friends. The spring program starts the week of March 13th.

Join us at =PR= Reston and Dr. Jane Pavalkis, DC from Beyond Wellness for a Saturday afternoon injury screening. Dr. Jaclyn Polk will be available to talk through any injury related questions you may have or advice you may need on recurring pain. She will also discuss the importance of foam rolling and the proper way to successfully use one!
A little about Dr. Pavalkis:
Dr. Jane Pavalkis spent most of her childhood years in Rockland, Maine. She grew up in a sports oriented family and pursued her B.S. in Sports Medicine in 2012 from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA. Wanting to further her education, she attended New York Chiropractic College, finishing her clinical experience at the Rochester New York’s Veteran’s Medical Center. Dr. Pavalkis is always actively pursuing the latest research in patient centered care, in order to provide the very best possible treatments for her patients. Dr. Pavalkis enjoys spending time participating in Crossfit, as well as local road races. She is certified in RockTape, is an ACSM Exercise Physiologist, and a CrossFit Level 1 Coach.

Come by PR Leesburg on Monday March 6th at 6:30 PM for our weekly all-comer’s fun run with Under Armour and Oofos! Our UA rep will be out talking about the latest in the UA shoe line. Feel free to grab a pair and test them out on your run! After the fun run, Oofos will have their demo recovery Slides, Thongs and Clogs for people to try. They’ll have a raffle to give away free stuff, and swag as well. Come try Oofos out!
This training session is some serious (-ly fun!) cross training for runners! The goal is to introduce CrossFit’s methodology of training as a means to improve running performance – focusing on improving 10 basic physical skills including cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. Participants will experience CrossFit Route 7’s fun, competitive, supportive and community centered environment. Expect to work hard, sweat and have a good time! Participants who wish to enroll in the Foundations Course will receive $25 off if they register on the same day of the workshop!
