Potomac River Running is a family-owned, local business with eight area DC-area stores to serve you. Though our name says “running” you don’t have to love, or even like running to come see us! We offer a personalized fitting experience to help you select the right shoe for you — whether to stand at work, head to the gym, or run your first (or 101st) race. You’ll find apparel choices that work for your activity of choice too! So whether you walk the dog, run after the kids, workout for fitness or for brownies, or race every weekend, let us help make that experience better! more >>

Nathan H2O Spring Hydration Event Powered by Orange Theory @ =PR= Fairfax

Join us on Monday, April 20 at 6:30 PM for a fun run, powered by Orange Theory & Nathan!  We’ll have our very own =PR= Nathan pros on hand to introduce everyone to the newest line of Nathan hydration accessories!  Don’t let dehydration ruin your run.  You should drink water before, during, and after a run to ensure you’re getting the most out of your workout.  You’ll have the chance to try out some of Nathan’s newest hydration gear while on your run.

And the fun doesn’t stop there!  The reps from Orange Theory will lead the group on dynamic and static stretching before and after the run. Don’t miss out on learning some new stretches that could help improve your pre- or post-run experience.

Come join us every Monday night at =PR= Fairfax for our all-comer’s fun run! The run is typically about 30-50 minutes and leaves from the Fairfax store. Runners can go at their own pace while running with others of similar ability. New runners may only want to run a mile or two. Experienced athletes might want go further.

Join us on Wednesday, April 22 at 6:30 PM for our all-comer’s fun run with Hoka!  Our On rep will be on hand to talk about all the latest in the Hoka shoe line. HOKA ONE ONE is a shoe for all runners, from joggers to elite athletes looking to improve their performance. HOKA ONE ONE has engineered a unique performance midsole geometry that features a higher volume, softer density, and greater rebounding foam than standard running shoes. The unique midsole geometry of HOKA ONE ONE shoes provides an uncommonly energizing, stable ride that has inspired countless runners to keep running.

If you haven’t heard of Hoka, now’s your chance to come check the out!  The fun run will begin at 6:30 PM. Whether you’re a novice runner or someone with a little more experience, join us…. all levels are welcome! The run is typically about 3 miles, maybe more if our group is feeling extra motivated. Runners can go at their own pace while running with others of similar ability. New runners may only want to run a mile or two. Experienced athletes might want go further.
