Potomac River Running is a family-owned, local business with eight area DC-area stores to serve you. Though our name says “running” you don’t have to love, or even like running to come see us! We offer a personalized fitting experience to help you select the right shoe for you — whether to stand at work, head to the gym, or run your first (or 101st) race. You’ll find apparel choices that work for your activity of choice too! So whether you walk the dog, run after the kids, workout for fitness or for brownies, or race every weekend, let us help make that experience better! more >>

Come by PR Tysons on Tuesday, May 26 at 6:30 PM for a fun run Powered by Saucony! Our Saucony rep will be there to talk about all the latest in the Saucony shoe line and will even have a variety of shoes to test out while out on your run! Our fun runs are typically about 30-50 minutes and the group leaves from the Tysons store. Runners can go at their own pace while running with others of similar ability. New runners may only want to run a mile or two. Experienced athletes might want to go further. We hope to have you join us!

Join us on Wednesday, May 27 at 6:30 PM for our all-comer’s fun run with Balega!  Our Balega rep will be on hand to talk about all the latest in the Balega high performance sock line.  Feel free to test a pair out while on your run!  The run will begin at 6:30 PM. Whether you’re a novice runner or someone with a little more experience, join us…. all levels are welcome! The run is typically about 3 miles, maybe more if our group is feeling extra motivated. Runners can go at their own pace while running with others of similar ability. New runners may only want to run a mile or two. Experienced athletes might want go further. Come by PR Ashburn on Tuesday, June 2nd for a fun run with Saucony!  Our Saucony rep will be on hand to talk about all the latest Saucony shoe technology and will even have some shoes you can test out while on your run! You may find a new “favorite”!  We invite you to join us… all levels are welcome!

Join us in Ashburn at 6:30 PM for our weekly Tuesday evening fun runs! The free program is a great way to meet new people and add some structure to your training schedule. Whether you’re a beginner or a competitive runner, please join us for a fun, low-key run that’s safe and social.

The run is typically no more than 50 minutes — from the store out and back on the W&OD trail. 50 minutes is not a magic number, but by going out and back, everyone can start and finish together and run at their own pace with others of similar ability. New runners may only want to run a mile or two. Experienced athletes might do a tempo run. Occasionally, some of the group will finish the evening at a local eatery for some “refueling.”
