Run for Boston Memorial Trail Run @ Burke, VA
Apr 19 @ 8:00 am – 11:00 am

Back by popular demand: Tame the trails with =PR=’s Spring 2014 Trail Fun Run Series. You asked for more trail runs, more locations, more fun. We aim to please!

Kick things off with us NEXT SATURDAY, April 19 at Burke Lake for a return of the Run for Boston trail run many of you attended last year. Join us as we come together to share the spirit and pure joy of running with each other. We’ll return to the venue of our Runners for Boston run last April and celebrate the support the running community gave, and continues to give, to the City of Boston.

At this first trail run, we’ll also again accept contributions to the One Fund for Boston, which directly assists those most affected by the tragic events of last April’s Boston Marathon. (Are you running the Nike Women’s Half? Head straight to special early PPU opportunity at =PR= Fairfax after you run at Burke Lake!)

After this appropriate kickoff, continue to join us on the trails all summer long. We’ll be running through the fall, but here are the first dates so you can mark your calendar! Get off the roads and enjoy a 30-, 60- or 90-minute (or more) trail run. There’s a pace and a group for everyone.

=PR= Trail Series Spring 2014:
* April 19 – Burke Lake
* May 4 – Lake Fairfax
* May 18 – Algonkian Park (parking by the baseball fields)
* May 31 – River Bend Park

Additional trail run dates and locations coming soon!

Injury Screening
Apr 19 @ 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Do you occasionally suffer from aches and pains when you run? Have you been repeatedly sidelined by chronic injuries? Do you sometimes wonder whether you can “train through” something bothering you or whether you need medical attention/a break? The Saturday Injury Drop-In Program is your opportunity to spend time with a medical professional AT NO COST and discuss your problems and questions (or how to avoid problems in the future if you’ve been injury free!)

You can now stop in to scheduled =PR= locations on Saturdays between 12-2 PM and meet with a medical professional relevant to runners and walkers (Podiatrist, Physical Therapist, Orthopedist, Sports Medicine Professional, Athletic Trainer, Sports Massage Practitioner, etc.).

We hope this program will help you stay on the road/track/treadmill injury free!

Visit our Injury Screenings page to view bios of all the practitioners coming in for this scheduled screening!
