The days are getting shorter and that means, running in the dark becomes a reality for many! As we continue our fun runs into the fall and winter, we have a mandatory rule that every runner must have reflective gear and a light of some kind. This event is a great opportunity to try out some awesome gear and be prepared for the running season coming up. We will have samples of some of this season’s great Nathan reflective gear for you to try on the run.
We will also fire up the run by having s’mores once everyone gets back. Running, reflective gear, s’mores… it’ll be a
good time. Can’t wait to see you there!
Join us at =PR= Ashburn and DR. ERIC SAXTON, DC from SAXTON CHIROPRACTIC AND REHAB for a Saturday afternoon injury screening. Dr. Saxton will be available to talk through any injury related questions you may have or advice you may need on recurring pain.
We look forward to seeing you there!
A little about Dr. Saxton…
Dr. Saxton is licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine and is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners for both Chiropractic and Physiotherapy. He is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College. While attending NYCC, Dr. Saxton served as the President of the Student American Chiropractic Association, tutored neuroanatomy, and spent countless hours in different seminars to keep his finger on the pulse of rehabilitation and chiropractic techniques.
Dr. Saxton grew up in upstate New York, nestled in wine country in the middle of the Finger Lakes. As a child of a Nurse Practitioner and a firefighter/EMT, he has always been interested in healthcare. Dr. Saxton attended Hartwick College for his undergraduate education where he was inducted into the Beta Beta Beta, a biology honor society. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Biology.
While at NYCC, he attended the National Chiropractic Legislative Conference (NCLC) in Washington, DC. Through his participation at NCLC, he became a patient advocate by advancing access to Chiropractic care for veterans, active military citizens, and their families. After returning from his second NCLC trip, he was elected President of the Student American Chiropractic Association in order to lead more students to Capitol Hill to advocate for Chiropractic.
During his Doctoral Degree program, Dr. Saxton treated patients in the Veterans Affairs hospitals (located in Rochester, NY and Canandaigua, NY), Geneva Community Center (a free-care system for low income families), Monroe Community Hospital (an inpatient hospital for patients with spinal cord injuries), and Seneca Falls Health Center. He then spent his final 3 months of his studies working in a Chiropractic office in Northern Virginia and decided to open his practice nearby. Dr. Saxton is excited to call Virginia his home with his wife, Sara, and their dog, Lexi. Dr. Saxton looks forward to helping you and your family get the most out of your life.
