=PR= Capon Ridge Running Camp: July 14 - July 19, 2013
Escape the mid-summer heat. Consider a week away at the =PR= Capon Ridge Running Camp. The 2013 Capon Ridge Running Camp is designed to give cross country athletes (ages13-18) an opportunity to run in a beautiful setting while meeting other cross country runners, learn from an experienced staff comprised of college athletes from several colleges including Virginia, Willliam & Mary, Longwood, Virginia Tech, American, Georgetown, Richmond, Miami(Fla) and excellent speakers (past speakers have included Alan Webb, American Record Holder in the mile, 3 x U.S. National Champion at 1500 meters and 2004 Olympian, Juli Henner, Air Force Academy distance coach and 1996 Olympian, Alex Gibby, head men’ s cross country coach at W&M, Kathy Newberry, head women’s cross country coach at W&M, John Truax, Nike Grass Roots Marketing Director, Mike Kiernan, head track coach, Robinson High School, Scott Raczko ,coach of several professional runners, Brian Schmidt, head cross country and track & field coach, Dominion High School, and Caitlin Stravino, head cross country coach, Tallwood High School ), and to have loads of fun with experiences which will be remembered forever.
Facilities: Concord Retreat is nestled in the Capon Valley region of West Virginia. There are miles of off road trails and grass fields connecting from the camp. The camp has 4 separate air-conditioned dorms (two boys and two girls), a large dining hall, a large game room, outdoor amphitheater, assembly room, ropes course, paintball course, obstacle course, and an outdoor swimming pool.
Housing: Housing is in four air-conditioned dorms (2 boys and 2 girls) on the 175 acre campus. Campers are housed 4 per room with approximately 30 campers per dorm

Costs: $485.00 ($460 if full amount is received by March 15th, 2012) Full refunds will be issued if notification is given prior to May 1, 2011. After May 1, a $100 processing fee will be applied to all refunds. No refunds after June 30, 2012. Cost includes lodging, 3 meals per day, camp t-shirt. Cost will also include speakers, individualized coaching, video analysis, and much more!
