Running Experience and Accomplishments: Joe has run at least part-time for almost thirty years. Although a better biker than runner, Joe likes the economy and efficiency of running. He prefers the solitude of a solo run in the woods to the camaraderie of a big race, but he is dedicated to helping people reach whatever running goals they might have, from a jog around the block to an ultramarathon.

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Luis comes from a team sports background. He played college baseball, and while in high school Luis played football and basketball. Running became a way of life when he joined the military where he proudly served thirteen years. Luis continues to workout six days a week and has run various races of 5k, mud races etc.

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Kate started running to stay in shape for her high school tennis team. In college, she turned her energy towards running and began doing half marathon and marathon races. She is now training for the Western States 100 Mile Trail Race, which she hopes to complete by the end of 2017!.

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Elizabeth began running at a young age. She participated in youth track in middle school and continues to run today. Elizabeth's highlight of high school was when she competed at the Footlocker National cross country high school meet her senior year. She went on to run cross country and track for Belmont University in Nashville, TN

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Stephanie started running after college, to get in better shape. Stephanie has participated in several of the Potomac River Running Training programs to learn more about running and improve her running ability. Since she started running a few years ago, she has run in several races, including 2 marathons. Stephanie continues to work on improving her running ability and knowledge, and is eager to encourage others who are new to the sport.

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Tamara discovered her love for running track when looking for something to keep her in shape for soccer season. She started out running summer track with the Silver Spring Track Club where she competed in the 100m and 200m open races, 4x100m and 4x200m relays. After transferring to Montgomery Blair HS, Tamara started running indoor track; racing in the 55m and 300m open races, and the 4x100m and 4x200m relays. She also made the All Gazette Team her Senior Year of High School. Tamara was also fortunate enough to make the Temple Women's Track team as a Walk-On.

Running Experience and Accomplishments: Chris has been running since his high school days at Quince Orchard HS. After running 2 years at Virginia Tech, Chris developed some injuries and had to stop running for a while. A few years later he started to self coach himself to train for a marathon. Chris taught himself how to avoid injury through proper rest, nutrition, and the right training. Since then, Chris has been very active in road races and races any distance from 10K-26.2. Chris believes his best racing days are ahead of him and continues to bring his times down. He hopes to one day qualify for the Olympic Trials Marathon.

Running Experience and Accomplishments: : Evan has been and active runner over the last 12 years as an active duty military member. After 10 years of running for fitness he found a love for the sport of Triathlon and focused his running towards higher goals. Evan refocused his running to learning proper techniques and for which allowed him to reach goals he never thought he could accomplish. in 2013 Evan completed 8 triathlons ranging from the sprint to half-ironman distance as well as numerous 10k events and a half marathon. He hopes to complete a full marathon and a Full Ironman distance event by the end of 2014!
