Below is a list of upcoming 2013 races that =PR= proudly sponsors:

One Sparrow 5k
Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 8:00 AM
Ashburn, VA

In May 2012, Capital Community Church sent a team of doctors, nurses, and volunteers to Bon Repos, Haiti for a humanitarian mission trip to provide healthcare to this heavily affected area. The team worked alongside a local network to create four temporary clinics and provided healthcare services to over 1,000 people; many were children, hundreds of them orphans. Many of the health issues they suffered from could have been avoided or healed from proper hygiene and basic care. If these children could be provided a safe, stable, and well equipped home to take care of them after the loss of their families, to nurture and provide for them, it would drastically improve their lives. OneSparrow’s goal is to raise $80,000 to build an orphanage and school that would service several of the children of that community. The Running Home for Haiti 5K Race is to raise $40,000 to purchase to the necessary land to begin the process. The 1st Annual One Sparrow 5K Run, 1 mile Family Fun Run will take place on Saturday, April 6th, 2013 starting at 9 am at Capital Community Church near Ashburn Elementary. There will be a free community festival featuring food, music, and fun activities for the entire family following the race.
