Join local health and run coach Beth, as she discusses easy, real-food fueling options for long runs and endurance races. These will help you avoid the dreaded bonk, but keep you energized and feeling good. (Or as good as you can feel during 26 miles.) She’ll also be discussing fueling strategies. And of course, there will be samples!
Beth is a local health and run coach known as The Rungry Health Coach. She helps newbie and middle-of-the-pack runners dial in on their nutrition, learn healthy-eating strategies and tips, and connect the dots between lifestyle and overall performance.
The seminar will start at 7:30 pm. Arrive early (6:30pm) to enjoy a 4-mile fun run around the National Mall. Your appetite will thank you once trying some of Beth’s delicious samples post-run.
