A little about Dr. Farid Mohammadi
Dr. Farid Mohammadi is a native of Northern Virginia. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science with a minor in Chemistry. Immediately following, Dr. Farid went to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic. His passion to help people and joy of staying active has led him to become a sports chiropractor.
Dr. Farid is certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Graston technique. He took his Active Release Technique (ART) certification courses in 2012 and 2013. Dr. Farid is also certified in Dry Needling technique. His certifications grant Dr. Farid the opportunity to work with athletes of all sports levels. He works directly with Crossfit gyms, personal trainers, and other fitness centers. His philosophy is based on quality rather than quantity of care; as he says “It’s not what you do, it’s how you do it.”
Dr. Farid’s experience ranges from high-volume, efficient treatments to low-volume, individualized sessions. His preference is to practice in a smaller clinic setting to provide highly personalized services. Dr. Farid’s clients often express appreciation for his individualized treatment plans, and have even said, “It’s like we have a chiropractor, physical therapist, and personal trainer at the same time.”
